Rathbone Brothers Plc, the investment management company with over £5bn of discretionary funds under management, today announced that Ian Buckley has been appointed Chief Executive of the company’s Trust Division with immediate effect.

Rathbone Brothers Plc, the investment management company with over £5bn of discretionary funds under management, today announced that Ian Buckley has been appointed Chief Executive of the company’s Trust Division with immediate effect.
Ian Buckley has been a Non Executive Director of Rathbones Brothers since December 2001. He will remain on the board as an Executive Director and now joins the Executive Committee.
Mark Powell, Chairman of Rathbones, said, “We are very pleased that Ian Buckley has agreed to take up this new role. He has a great deal of relevant experience in professional services and private banking. He will be working with Paul Egerton-Vernon, the Chairman of our Trust Division. Together, they will be a very strong team.”
