- Rathbone Unit Trust Management Limited was awarded the Lipper Prize for Best UK Equity Fund Management Group at the Fund Strategy Awards on 17 May 2002. Rathbone Unit Trust Management beat 62 other fund providers to the award.

- Rathbone Unit Trust Management has won two of the most prestigious 2002 Standard & Poor's Awards. Strong performance across the board meant Rathbone Unit Trust Management Ltd. was named Best Smaller Group (over 5 years), whilst for the 3rd year running, the Rathbone Smaller Companies Fund came 1st in the UK Smaller Companies Sector (over 5 years) out of 67 funds in that sector.
