Rathbones to open new office in Cambridge

Rathbones, the private client investment manager, is delighted to announce the opening of its new office in Cambridge. Rathbones has recruited a new team of seven to run the office, including one investment director and four investment managers. This will spear-head Rathbones' expansion in the East Anglia region.

Joining from Gerrard Limited (formerly Greig Middleton), Cambridge, is an investment team consisting of Paul Snow, John Barrett, Colin Campbell Golding, Simon Whitmore and Mark Winchester. Joel Limmer and Pauline Limmer have been appointed to provide administrative support to the new office.

Roy Morris, Chief Executive of Rathbones, commented:

Paul Snow, Investment Director, has been a stockbroker for some 30 years and has worked for Gerrard Limited in their Cambridge and Norwich offices for the last 11 years.

Investment Manager John Barrett is a member of the Securities Institute and has 41 years' experience in stockbroking and investment management. Before joining Rathbones, John worked for Gerrard Limited for ten years.

Colin Campbell Golding joins as an Investment Manager. Colin was a market maker for 24 years before becoming a stockbroker.

Prior to joining Rathbones, Simon Whitmore, Investment Manager, has worked in the investment management industry for 10 years.

Mark Winchester, Investment Manager, has worked in the investment management industry for five years, after gaining a Securities Institute Diploma in 1999.
